FOOTBALL CHAMPIONSHIP: Mountcollins Junior Footballers will play round 3 of the football championship on Friday, August 19th at 6.30pm. They will face Cappamore with a throw in time of 6.30pm in Ballyagran. All support would be greatly appreciated.

MINOR FOOTBALL: Our minor footballers lost out by the smallest of margins in round two of the minor football championship last Wednesday evening. The final score was, Dromin/Atlacca 1-11, Mountcollins 3-4. The sides were level at halftime 1-4 to 2-1. There was little between them throughout but late point secured the win for the home side. Well done to the local side for a great display.

CUL CAMP: The summer Cul Camp concluded at the local GAA grounds on Friday after a great week of sporting activities which took place in ideal weather conditions. Well done to all the coaches for their input and patience and to the Bord na Nog for organising a great weeks activities. We were hounered on Friday with the opportunity to view the Liam McCarthy Cup which was hugely admired and photographed by all in attendance.
